Buying and selling at the same time can feel completely overwhelming. It’s an inevitably emotional process. Believe me, I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to realize the home you’ve loved and shared so many wonderful memories in just doesn’t fit anymore. Being ‘stuck’ and overwhelmed. Knowing you need to make a change, but having no idea how or even where to start.

Sadly, my husband and I spun our wheels for years trying to solve this issue on our own. I cringe when I think about all the time we wasted.

It wasn’t until I was a Realtor (following a 15 year career in digital marketing and tech consulting) that I really got to work solving the question and creating a process for answering the question ‘how and where to start’ if you need to buy and sell at the same time. I was very motivated – I’d had enough of living on top of each other at that point!

With the process I created, we bought our forever home and sold the home we’d cherished for so long. Was it bittersweet? Yes. Was it worth it? Even more yes-es!

Moving into the right home and community was life changing. Our new home is our paradise. And, it’s the very reason I’m so passionate about helping others do the same.
