Today, I’m sharing a little bit about my story – from growing up in a real estate family, to a corporate career in digital marketing and consulting, and back to real estate.
There is something so grounding about being at the beach. There’s this feeling that everything is right in the world.
Gratitude has had a huge impact in my life on the way I live my life. One of the things that has been really important to me as I’ve built my business was to contribute to charities that I’m passionate about.
One is Little Wish Foundation and one is the Edmond’s Food Bank. Food instability is something that Washington state deals with a lot. I love that I’m able to contribute to those organizations through every transaction that I do.
I think a lot of it has to do with my childhood and watching the role that my dad played in our community and making sure that, as kids, we never took anything for granted.
Growing up, I dream of being a real estate agent. I would work in my dad’s brokerage on the weekends in the evenings and as I leafed through the brochures I would dream about listing that home for sale. I completely idolized the job.
After getting my real estate license after college and being an agent for about a year, I decided to use my degree and go into marketing.
But, I couldn’t shake this feeling that I was really meant to be a real estate agent. It was really the passion for helping lead my clients through the complexity of the process that led me back to the career I have now as an agent with Compass.
I love being part of my clients’ lives and the role that I can play in one of the biggest decisions they make in their life.
Spending so much time of my career in marketing, digital specifically, has given me the tools, expertise and skills to be on the leading edge when it comes to using the latest in modern real estate systems and technologies. In turn this gives my clients, whether they’re buying or selling, a significant advantage and makes their lives easier.
